Installer/Builder

For two years, I worked as a carpenter, CNC operator and installer with HEAVY Experience, helping bring large-scale public art to life across North America. These were hands-on builds, massive sculptures, tight timelines, and every kind of weather. We worked late, we worked in heat and cold, and we made great art.

I learned fast. I ran tools, climbed scaffolding, rigged massive pieces into place. I also trained as a CNC operator, turning digital designs into physical parts. There’s a real satisfaction in watching something go from file to form, then seeing it stand 30 feet tall in a public space.

Eventually, I transitioned off the tools and into photography, documenting the builds I used to help create. Same love for the process, just a different way of making something.
